Cordelia's 19th birthday

Lookie~ What came in the mail last week...

River Island inspired gold trimmed button dress in Champagne Pink
Wore this out a few days go to have sushi lunch with Cheerin and then Cordelia's birthday celebration with the ladies at Town.
The material is cooling and comfy, perfect for the humid sunny singapore's weather! Besides the material, the cutting is flattering!
I always love dresses with sexy back design, this lovely piece has a cross back design! :)



On saturday, I had work which required me to don a white dress.
So I picked the Forever 21 Inspired Chic Dress in Pure White.
Despite being white, the dress wasnt sheer, not even a tiny bit :) Besides that, the V cutting was just nice, did not reveal too much/ too little, hee :)
The length was just nice for me ( I dont fancy long dresses, neither dresses that are too mini)

Met Cheerin to pass her birthday present :) Glad she likes it!
For the first time, I patronized Nihon Mura the 99 cents sushi outlet located at YCK, which is near my school. Cheerin was really shocked when I told her I didnt know of its existence.
The meal was pretty average, food wasnt great, but the company was :)

Cordelia had no idea about the celebration, as we told her we were having an interview with the manager, for our Human Behaviour project. She believed, all thanks to our convincing acting skills.

Prior to meeting her at Orchard station, we were searching high and low for the perfect gift for her. I ended up shoe shopping again! Haha! I can never get enough of those lovely heels. However, as we were unsure if it will suit her liking, we decided to let her try on the dresses we picked, and then snatch her clothes away from her, so she will have no choice but to don the dress for the night.

Brilliant plan right? However the loophole existed, when she refused to try on the dresses we picked while we cited all kinds of reasons and excuses we could think of, except the truth that it was her birthday present. The negotiation took long, but failed tragically. We left the shop empty handed :(

Dinner plans had to be changed due to the long snaking queue found at all Orchard Ions dining places :( We were looking forward to it! So we headed to TCC, the one located at the building next to Shaw was occupied, thus we could not enjoy the romantic ambience.
So here we are at Shaw TCC, we were only there because there was a 1 for 1 main course promotion exclusive to members. If not, no way will I patronize TCC.



Service at TCC was really bad, the ladies stormed off the outlet feeling really mad! We paid service charge ok! Anyway the bill was really cheap!
We headed to Orchard Ion to enjoy the night scenary, how romantic. While Jean and Vanessa went to purchase Cordelia's cake from Bakerzin. Bakerzin was totally full to the brim again! We had no choice but to make do at Ion. Even though Cordelia was fully aware of the cake, we managed to shock her a little, from the back. I have a video which I may or may not upload. HAHA!

While waiting, we could not resist but start taking touristy shots, like what many others were doing! I think i make a pretty good photographer aye!

Tomorrow its going to be a crazy day with 2 presentations to be done!
