The cousins' birthday BBQ

Another 2 weeks, this semester will end.What a fun semester! Then it will be back to reality, back to the classrooms!

I happen to read the newspaper today and air france's tickets are going really cheap now!Air France is safe,I took their flight to and fro Paris.Service wise and food wise is quite acceptable :D

a penny to know your thoughts

Week 6 came and went by swiftly.Morning shift!
Here's a quick recap what happened.
On monday,PF did our presentation.Now i know how it feels when no one is listening while you are presenting.I absolutely detest this particular stopover people.Incorrigible!

Tuesday,it was a mad rush to get to Sentosa on time.But...we finally made it to Sentosa by 3.30pm :D Took Sentosa Express in...zooom zoom

off we alighted at Beach Station.
took a short stroll to the Luge :D

the sky ride was quite fun even though it was my 2nd/3rd time

next we went over to...

Underwater World!!!
wooohoo I havent been there since secondary school!!!
i absolutely absolutely loveeee the escalator part,where you could view the sea creatures in 180 degree.

we brought 3 cameras!!!
1 each :D the two of them were spamming their camera,clicking non stop

we went on the "escalator" thing twice,it was still not enough!!! :(
i was so fascinated

at the entrance,there is this "hands on" place where you could touch the fishy,shark,star fish,etc..
i didnt do so as it was SUPER squeezy
i left the kids to squeeze while i was happily snapping pictures of them

we ended our stay at underwater world upon hearing the pink dolphin show was at 5.30pm.
We rushed over and managed to catch the spectacular show :D
kudos to the trainers...the dolphins are really cute
a lucky shot of the stunts performed.

i am really glad the kids enjoyed themselves :D I know Erin(cousin) was looking forward to it! My brother behaved himself well,as compared to the previous zoo trip i brought him.Next one will prolly be Wild wild wet,was suppose to go movie outing today.But.. I was soooo tired.

Wednesday was stock take day for PF.After full shift,had dinner at Cine before work.I was exhausted by the time i reached home.

Thursday,met Cheerin for Nihon Mura.Nothing fantastic!The rose tea was terrible.Walked around Plaza Singapura for a long long time...went to see the shop which has babies.Super cute!
Its near the hello kitty shop!

Friday,did dinner with Deborah over at Plaza Singapura for the third time consecutively in a week!!!I didnt feel like smiling at all because I was still annoyed by...

dinner was at some restaurant which has lousy service.The ice cream was in a horrible state.I couldnt wait to leave the place to grab Mr Bean's soya bean ice cream(ACD's fav)

Then we gave our support to Cheerin's first day of work :D

when i saw Cheerin pushing the trolley i couldnt help but to burst out laughing.She was so tiny and yet she is pushing a trolley that looks larger than her!

Look what awaited me at home...

Today after dinner,the babies went outside to play bubbles.How nostalgic! The smiles and laughter derived from the bubbles...cheap thrills isnt it?

Thai express weekend

As i mentioned in my previous post,i went to IT fair on saturday to visit Gf.
So...see the crazy crowd.It was totally packed to the brim.
What a rowdy and chaotic scene it was.
All those ham sup must be very happy,cos they could take advantage of the situation.

i woke up on sat with a totally BAD mood.
But...meeting ACD totally made my day better.
Ice kimo followed by quality time with the babies.

and then NTU alumini again..

The service there is SUPERB i tell you!
super duper duper good.

perfection

I am so annoyed!!!
because now my grade is at stake!!!!!!!!!!
ARGHHHH

Yesterday i watched a movie,JAPANESE movie,Departure.

Its a story about a cellist (Daigo)who loses his job and must move back to his hometown. Once back there he reconnects with his past, and comes to terms with his life, love and dreams. Desperate to find a job, he answers an ad listed under departures, which turns out to be misspelled. It was supposed to say the departed, the job pertains to dressing, washing, and putting makeup on the deceased before the funeral. It is a job that most people look down upon because you earn money when someone dies. At first Daigo, does not like his job but little by little he comes to a new understanding of it. The process of prepping the corpse is shown in detail within the context of the story, and little by little we too as an audience get sucked in. it is an incredible ceremony to witness.

Frankly speaking,this movie scares me a lot,"death" is a topic i try very hard to avoid.

When I asked the GV staff whether he recommends "kungfu chef" or "departure",he could not give me an answer.Taking into consideration the awards given to the movie,I chose the latter- "Departure".Lasting for 130 minutes,it was really captivating that time flew past.

At first it was terrifying when the actor unveiled the "corpse".It was such a terrifying scene that uncontrollably,my hands covered my eyes.Now you know why i dont watch horror movies.
Okay back to the movie,I couldnt control my tears from falling when I witnessed the fragility of human lives.Although death seems to be the "end",think of it this way,it is just a GATEWAY.We will meet someday.

However,at this point and in the future,I do not want to experience the pain of losing someone forever.The pain must be very excruciating.

Death is not scary,its the "eternal" separation,but if you are a Christian,and I am a Christian,thus I strongly believe that we will meet again in Heaven where we will live in eternal bliss.I admit i am worried as some of my family members are not Christian yet,and it is indeed hard to change their perceptions.But I will try my best.

That's about it.PF is getting a little too stressful :( but I'm enjoying every minute.
My impression of EMRS is starting to change as I witness how life is so unfair.I am thoroughly disappointed with the grading system.

Working tomorrow and on saturday :D
Shall make time to visit love slogging away in IT show.

Hellooooo
I am done with watching my drama! Completed in 3 days before i fell into a deeeeeeep slumber of 12hrs.The weather is tempting me to return back to hibernation mode.

キラキラ

手紙を送れて。。。うれしいだよ。
When was the last time I wrote a letter?Emails,MSN and SMSes have gradually taken over the habit of writing letters, in this fast paced society.
Everything is done as fast as possible,yet no mistakes is allowed.
I need a holiday :(

Today Uncle Vincent nudged me on msn! He finally found some time to upload the pictures from some of the events that i worked for :D
Hmmm....this was sometime last year,in December,at Suntec City.They rented an outfit for me to wear,and I remembered vividly the atmosphere,burstling with excitement and anticipation.
The employees of this company had a competition internally,building various exhibits as a team,thus promoting teamwork and co-operation.It was a great opportunity to allow every one in the team to bond together.
My job was to get the guests to sign on the "guest book", take pictures and have fun,together with my partner.It was really fun because everyone were pretty friendly.
Time passed really fast and as always,we received our pay before leaving.
And seems like quite a number of my friends saw me,thus leading into a series of questioning.It was nothing,really!

Pictures taken with the team,the "Shrek" is really cool!There were many other employees who dressed up as different characters walking around.What a sporting company!

心はどんどんらしいだよ、どうして。。。
I guess i am going to skip casting tomorrow. My grades are my top priority now! :D I shall not let work affect my grades.
I must get into a local university,perhaps with my sister?

Anyway for those who are bored,
here are two dramas that i managed to finish watching within two days.

パパとムスメの７日間 / Seven Days of a Daddy and a Daughter
A japanese drama that really touched my heart.How often do we find our parents annoying and wish they would mind their own business?I must admit,i do.After watching this show,I felt really remorseful because everytime my parents attempted to communicate with me,I avoid them.I felt they were really "old-fashioned" and didnt understand how I felt.At times,they tried too hard to fit in,trying to bridge that invisible gap between us.
I love Aragaki Yui!!!I am going to watch the other dramas & movies that she has acted in.This is the 3rd show that I watched.The other two were Sky of love(koizora) and My boss my hero.

Someone recommended me to watch this,and thus I did.Kento is really funny and bizarre,yet in his own ways he is really cute.Having a really patient teacher helped Kento nurture that curiosity in him.And I thought Remi was really cute especially when she took the initiatives.The childlike innocence found within kids are amazingly attractive!No wonder I love spending time with my cousins.Besides the days I have to send them to school,I must make an effort to spend more time with them,as well with my brother.

I am annoyed with this girl for delaying my pay over and over again.It has been 6 months!!!

Time really flies,its March already!
The past week was really eventful.I got to meet my favourite people!!!! :D
Although i received some bad news,I had a rather good week.
Got to meet a really long long lost good friend,since primary school till now...
Almost 10 years of friendship.What strikes me most is her honesty.

Work on saturday was the usual games.Thankfully we have very nice in charge.Time passed pretty fast.And and before work,i managed to have my fav suan la mian!
