Christmas week
Hello!
Long update ahead!
Did an event over at East Coast Park,a few days back.It was so inaccessible,we had to walk and run for 30 minutes from Block C to Block E,how exhausting! I was kind of cursing on the way there! Anyway,it was a private function for World Courier and thankfully despite the vigorous work done,my make up didnt smudge!
I will start earlier next year for my christmas shopping!!
Racking my brains to get the perfect gift for my beloved friends and family was exhausting!
All you lucky ones who received them be very happy :) hehe!!!
Some of the presents are in the plastic bags,hidden away,cos its meant to be a secret.
And size doesnt mean its better/more expensive yea!
While hunting for presents,this is one of the stuff we did at EMRS
doing a banner up,big hearttttttttttttt
see its huge
we took group pictures,waiting to receive from michelle :)
once the clock struck 530,i ran to the mrt so i could meet linny sooner!
city hall was packed like sardines :(
As a result,I felt suffocated,but i had to squeeze my way to suntec to find Johan.
Christmas trees were a common sight.
Look inside,and you will find us.
a white snowy christmas~
After which was countdown time.
this was our final night :)
got home with a smile

Overslept and then met A for lunch-Buffet at Goodwood Park Hotel
Now i feel so so so bad,cos the lunch cost a bomb,3 digits per pax.
I am super duper in love with the durian cake.It was so so so good,melt in the mouth goodness~
see there was even a floor plan!
and there was a pianist playing very lovely classics
in the toilet,rather clean,but shang-rila's toilet is the best~!
after lunch,A zoomed me home in his BMW,super fast speed.
Although its a selfish car(2 seator),i like the car!

The food sucks! Dont go there,like my sister said,it was overrated!!!

Today marks the start of week 3 in EMRS.
EMRS is my second stop over for TEP, which stands for Teaching Enterprise programme. In this TEP,we arent paid to work at all,we are paid by a GRADE.
The mini roadshow held last week at North Canteen was the first assessment for us,emrs students.Notice that almost all of us are dressed in white,a colour we agreed on to differentiate us from the other groups who wore black.
At first,we thought it was impossible to hit the given target of $200/day,but we did it!
Not by sheer luck,but through team work and co-operation. :)
Thus,time is a limiting factor as i am in school daily from 9am-530pm.
At times,I find myself racing against time,especially so if i have work after school.
Last friday's event over at Hilton Hotel
The event was a staff gathering dinner for the year,and i was delighted that it was a japanese company!Another great opportunity to practise my conversational japanese.
The function was held on the 24th storey,where the swimming pool was located.
My job ended earlier than expected,leaving me very delighted.
Christmas spirit is in the air~!
After the event,i went Christmas presents shopping!
Town was bustling with activities,from wisma till ngee ann city.
It has been a long time since i had such ice cream,i always head to ice kimo for my weekly indulge of ice cream :) Sinful delights!
Ice kimo still serves one of the best :) Mr bean ice cream is pretty smooth~

yesterday it was terrifying when a guy was stalking us, while scolding vulgarities on the phone.
He had long golden hair with red eyes(contact lens),had tattoos all over his arms and legs.
I almost called the police.
due to the lack of sleep,i fell very ill
at times i have difficulties breathing and talking,so please pardon me if i turn silent.
i am so looking forward to 31st dec :)
Year 2009 seems exciting should i receive good news next week~

phuket day 1
Changi Airport at 5am.
i know i look very different without makeup
boarded silk air,lousy!!!
small,why no SQ????
after abt 2 hrs of flying,reached phuket.
queued for 2 hours at Phuket airport
The driver waited for a long time for us,poor him!
and i slept on the way cos i was very very very very very tired.
we stopped at Central Festival,a new shopping mall.
but it was around 9/10am,so everywhere closed,very boring
only have supermarket opened.
then we bought some groceries before heading over to villa maria
upon arrival i took 6 videos of the entire villa
and now the stupid 6 videos wont load!
the villa is huge la.i want to stay there forever.
i chose the room nearest to the pool,on level 1.
went for a swim.
had lunch and dinner,yum yum
cooked by the thai chef and maids :)
stay tuned
to be continued.

Phuket
Hello!
Pardon me for my secret disappearance for the past 5 days.
I was away,far far away,over the oceans and seas.
In a small small place called Phuket,hiding in Villa Maria.
I love this quaint little refuge where i hid there for 5 days.
Avoiding all calls and messages.
Not on purpose though.
Where i could be myself,wont be judged.
I didnt have to put on any tinge of makeup.
The hefty price tag for this was well worth it.
along with the opportunity costs(the events i gave up, especially sat's )
I will blog again soon...
i really miss some of you very very much.
while some of you are causing me nightmares.

Work
I havent been updating because i am so so so busy with work and school.School is killing me,the stress level is sky high.

Long long week
Today,i went to Nanyang Girls High,my sister's alma mater
Compared to St Margaret's, Nanyang's architecture was impressive. St Margaret pales in comparison.
Now that explains the hefty school fees.
More $$ = a better place to study?
I would love to see how ACS(I),my sister's current school looks like one day.
Anyway back to the topic,i was there for the annual Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT). There are 4 levels,with level 4 being the easiest,level 1 being the highest level.This year, i took level 3.
There were 3 sections.
First-Kanji and Vocabulary.Kanji was very simple,i could recognized all words with ease.However vocabulary was a little tough.
Then we had a short 10 mins break.
Secondly-listening.This year i was better prepared cos i knew the conversation wont be repeat so i tried to listen intently.
Break again
Thirdly the grammer part.I finished within 30 minutes.We are not allowed to divulge the questions/answers.So this is all i am going to say,just the format.
I am crossing my fingers!
I must get the certificate,got to obtain 60% to pass.
The bedok reservoir print advertisement i did sometime back is out!
Ken owes me a big big favour,because i found all the talents for him within less than a day
Thus making this a big success :)
And a big big thank you to Joseph,Lionel,Auntie Audrey and little boy(sorry!forgot your name,I will ask my brother later,they are schoolmates)
